How to use
Purpose
Document scanner / perspective correction — take a phone photo of a document, the tool auto-detects edges and applies perspective transform to produce a flat, scanner-like image. Optional B&W mode removes shadows / paper tint, edge sharpening enhances text. Export as PDF (multi-page supported). Documents (contracts, IDs, notes, receipts) contain sensitive data and are strictly processed locally — a meaningful privacy improvement over CamScanner / similar cloud-based scanners.

- Apply perspective correction → flattened result

- How does it compare to a real scanner?
- Under even lighting with perspective correction + enhancement, results approach 300 DPI scanner output. Uneven lighting causes shadows — the B&W mode largely eliminates them by removing color and tonal variation.
- Can I scan multi-page documents into one PDF?
- Yes — upload several photos, process each page, then click 'Export PDF' to merge into one document. Ideal for contracts, multi-page reports, notes.
- Is my document uploaded?
- Never. Contracts, IDs, notes — strictly local processing. This is our biggest differentiator vs CamScanner, ScannerPro, and similar cloud apps.
- What if auto-detection fails?
- Switch to manual mode — drag the 4 corners to the document's exact corners, perspective correction applies your specified mapping.
- When to use B&W mode?
- Uneven lighting (one side bright, the other dark), yellowed paper, mild shadows — B&W mode discards color and keeps only text strokes, producing crisp output.
