How to use

Purpose

Slice one large image into a 3×3 grid (or 2×2 / 2×3 / 3×4 / custom N×N) and download as a ZIP — perfect for Instagram grid posts that combine to form one large image when viewed on a profile. Each slice keeps original pixel quality. Files are named in upload order so you can post sequentially to recreate the seamless grid.

Steps

  3. Live-preview each slice's boundary
  4. Optional: add a small border or gap between slices

How does the Instagram grid trick work?
Instagram displays profile grids 3-wide. Post 9 slices in reverse order (because IG shows newest first), and viewers see one large image when viewing your profile. We name the ZIP in the correct posting sequence.
Can I use a custom grid like 4×4?
Yes — any N×M split works, from 2×2 (4 slices) to 5×5 (25 slices) or non-square like 2×5.
Will slicing reduce quality?
No — we cut pixel-exact slices, no re-encoding. Each piece is a faithful crop of the original.
Can I add white borders for a magazine look?
Yes — enable 'slice border' with adjustable width (2-20px) for a clean editorial gap between posts.
Does it work for Weibo or Xiaohongshu too?
The 9-image format works on most photo-grid social platforms — Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Twitter/X, etc. Each platform's display logic may differ slightly.
