QR Code Generator
QR code generator: turn any URL or text into a QR with adjustable size (256-2048), error-correction level (L/M/Q/H), foreground/background colours, optional centre logo (auto-bumps ECC to H). Exports PNG or SVG.
Uploading a logo auto-bumps ECC to H so the QR still scans; keep the logo under 22% of the QR area.
Preview is a thumbnail; downloaded QR will be 256×256
How to use
Purpose
QR code generator supporting URL, plain text, WiFi credentials, vCard contact cards, email, SMS, phone, Bitcoin address, and more — generated locally in your browser. Customize with brand logo, colors, error correction level. Export as PNG (print), SVG (scalable / web), or PDF. Generated codes are permanent and self-contained — they don't depend on our service.
Steps
- Pick QR type: URL / plain text / WiFi / vCard / email / phone / SMS
- Enter content (format-validated)
- Adjust style: margin, module size, color, error correction (L 7% / M 15% / Q 25% / H 30%)
- Optional: upload a logo (auto-centered, error correction auto-raised)
- Pick output: PNG (print) / SVG (vector / web) / PDF

FAQ
- Will my QR code expire?
- No. QR codes encode data directly — your URL or text is in the bars themselves. Scanning routes to whatever you encoded, no server involved. We have no database. **This differs from 'dynamic QR' services (QRCode Monkey, etc.)** which route through their server (kill the server = code dead). Ours is static = permanent.
- Will a logo hurt scannability?
- A logo covers part of the encoded data, but QR has Reed-Solomon error correction. Set error correction to H (30%) and keep logo under 25% of the code area — almost any scanner reads it.
- Colored QR codes?
- Yes — change foreground / background. Maintain high contrast (dark foreground on light background). Avoid red-yellow combos which cause scan failures.
- Batch generate many QRs?
- This tool generates one at a time. For batch (e.g. unique URLs per employee), script the underlying library.
- Static vs dynamic QR?
- Static QR = data embedded directly, permanent, fixed content. Dynamic QR = short URL redirect, content editable but server-dependent. Ours is static — suitable for unchanging content (WiFi / vCard / fixed URL).
Use cases
- Café WiFi QR for guests
- Business card / vCard contact info
- Trade-show / event branded QR
- Restaurant menu QR with logo
- Poster / flyer engagement QR
Use cases
URL / WiFi / vCard / email QR + logo + custom colors + SVG vector output. **Static codes are permanent** — unlike dynamic-URL services that die if their server dies.
