Is an image signature legally binding?
A pure signature image has weak legal force — it can be copy-pasted by anyone. Legally-binding e-signatures require: 1) signer's exclusive control, 2) tamper-evident signing process, 3) document integrity. Use CA-certified services (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, e签宝, Fadada) for formal contracts. This tool fits informal / day-to-day signing.
Is the signature uploaded?
Never. Signatures are personal identity features — strictly local.
Can I make a corporate stamp?
This tool is for handwritten signatures. For corporate stamps, extract from a scan with the stamp-extract tool.
How do I use the transparent PNG?
PDF viewers (Adobe, Preview, Foxit) have a 'Fill & Sign' feature that accepts transparent PNG signatures — overlay at the contract's signature line.
