Remove Watermark
Draw rectangles or brush over the watermark area. A diffusion inpainting algorithm reconstructs the region from surrounding pixels — entirely in your browser, nothing uploaded.
How to use
Purpose
AI-based watermark removal — detect and erase watermarks, logos, text, or timestamps using content-aware fill running in your browser. Effective for translucent watermarks, corner logos, website timestamps. Note: removing watermarks from copyrighted images you don't own may be illegal. Use only on your own watermarks or public-domain content.
Steps
- Upload an image with a watermark
- Pick removal tool: smart auto-detect OR brush manual selection
- Auto mode: click 'detect', tool highlights candidate watermark regions
- Manual mode: brush over the watermark area (precision adjustable)
- Click 'remove' — content-aware fill runs locally
- Inspect; layer multiple removals for fine work
- Export JPG / PNG
FAQ
- How effective is the removal?
- Simple semi-transparent logos on uniform backgrounds clean up nearly seamlessly. Complex patterns / large watermarks leave visible artifacts. Cloud-based AI (Magic Eraser, Watermark Remover) has higher accuracy at the cost of upload — we trade some accuracy for privacy.
- Is watermark removal legal?
- Depends on image copyright. Removing your own watermarks (added by mistake or for re-export) or watermarks on public-domain / CC0 content = legal. Removing watermarks from someone else's copyrighted images = likely copyright violation. Verify ownership before use.
- Is the image uploaded?
- No — local processing.
- Can I erase text / timestamps?
- Yes — brush over text or timestamp areas, content-aware fill regenerates the background. Works best when surrounding texture is regular (solid color / gradient).
- Difference vs stamp-extract?
- Watermark-remove = delete the mark and fill the background. Stamp-extract = isolate the mark on a transparent background. Opposite operations.
Use cases

- Remove distracting objects you yourself photographed
- Clean unwanted UI elements from app screenshots
Use cases
