How to use

Purpose

ID-photo print layout — arrange a single ID photo into a 4×6 inch (6-inch) photo print: 8 copies of 1-inch, 4 copies of 2-inch, 6 copies of small-1-inch. Cut lines included. Print on a home photo printer or send to a one-hour photo shop. Far cheaper than studio prints — a 6-inch sheet at the photo shop is ~$0.30 and gives 8 ID photos.

Steps

  1. Upload an already-made ID photo (process via our ID-photo tool first)
  2. Pick layout: 6-inch sheet 8× 1-inch / 6-inch sheet 4× 2-inch / 6-inch sheet 6× small-1-inch / A4 layout
  3. Set spacing (2-5mm for easy cutting)
  4. Optional: add cut lines / auto-rotate to save paper

Standard 6-inch photo print size?
6-inch = 4×6 inch = 101.6×152.4mm — the standard digital photo print. One 6-inch sheet fits: 8× 1-inch (25×35mm), 4× 2-inch (35×49mm), or 6× small-1-inch (22×32mm).
Where do I print?
Options: 1) Photo shop / photo print kiosks (~$0.30 / 6-inch sheet); 2) Home photo printer + photo paper; 3) Office laser printer on plain A4 (cheap but lower quality).
Print colors look different from screen?
Screen (RGB) ≠ print (CMYK). ID photos have simple backgrounds (blue / red / white), so color shift is minor and acceptable.
vs studio ID photo?
