Long Image Stitch
Online long-image stitch: upload several images and join them end-to-end into one long image, vertical (top-bottom) or horizontal (left-right), with adjustable gap, alignment and edge scaling. Unlike Grid Collage, this makes a single long strip. In-browser, zero upload.
Images are stitched front to back — drag the thumbnails to reorder.
How to use
Purpose
Stitch multiple images vertically (long image), horizontally (wide panorama), or in a grid — all local processing. Perfect for combining WhatsApp / WeChat chat screenshots into one shareable long image, joining browser-screenshot sections, or merging product detail shots into one composite. Each sub-image's position, gap, and rotation independently adjustable.
Steps
- Upload multiple images (2-20)
- Pick layout: vertical (long image) / horizontal (wide) / grid
- Drag to reorder, adjust per-image gap, rotation
- Pick background fill color (white / transparent / custom)
- Optional: per-image border / shadow
- Export JPG / PNG
FAQ
- How to stitch chat screenshots into one long image?
- Pick 'vertical stitch', drop screenshots in chronological order, ensure consistent width (typically 1080px), tool composites them seamlessly.
- Will the stitched image be huge?
- 10 screenshots @1080×2400 stitched = 1080×24000 long image; JPEG quality 80 ≈ 5-10MB. Run through the long-image-compress tool to shrink.
- Maximum stitched length?
- Tested up to 50,000 pixels. Limited by browser Canvas size (Chrome ~16384, Safari ~4096). For very long stitches, use the long-image-compress segment approach.
- Does stitching degrade quality?
- Vertical/horizontal stitch is pixel-exact joining, no quality loss. Only JPEG re-encoding at export adds minor compression; choose PNG for completely lossless.
- Difference vs grid-split?
- Stitch = combine many → one. Grid-split = cut one → many. Inverse operations.
