- What images vectorize well?
- Solid-color logos / cartoons / line art / geometric shapes — yes. Photographs / gradient images — poorly (SVG isn't built for gradient detail).
- SVG vs PNG advantages?
- SVG = vector (scales without blur), often smaller for simple shapes, editable (change color / shape), perfect for logos and icons. PNG = raster (scales blurry), suited for photos.
- Why did details get lost?
- Vectorization fits pixels into curves — fine details get simplified. To preserve more detail, increase 'color count' or 'precision' parameter.
- SVG back to PNG?
- Yes — rasterize SVG via browser or graphic tool. But PNG → SVG → PNG roundtripping loses quality; avoid.
