How to use

Purpose

Create an animated GIF from a sequence of static images — adjust frame rate, loop count, quality, and color palette. Outputs standard GIF89a format that plays in WeChat, WhatsApp, Slack, Twitter, Discord. Perfect for sticker / emoji packs, UI state animations, product demos, simple animations. All processed in-browser.

Steps

  1. Upload 2-100 frames in order (PNG / JPG)
  2. Drag to reorder
  3. Set frame rate (default 10 fps; slow animation 5 fps; smooth 24 fps)
  4. Set loop count (0 = infinite, default)
  5. Optional: per-frame delay for emphasis frames
  6. Export GIF; adjust quality / color palette (256 / 128 / 64 colors)

FAQ

Can I convert video to GIF?
This tool takes static frames → GIF. For video → GIF, you'd first extract frames with a video editor.
GIF too big — how to shrink?
Reduce 1) frame count (5-10 fps), 2) dimensions (<500px wide), 3) palette (64-128 colors). WeChat sticker size limit is <1MB.
Can GIF have transparent background?
GIF supports indexed transparency (single color treated as transparent) but not semi-transparency. For smooth alpha animation, use APNG or animated WebP.
WeChat sticker spec?
WeChat custom stickers: 240×240 pixels, <1MB GIF. Our tool can output exactly to spec.
Why does my GIF have color banding?
GIF limits to 256 colors. Gradients / photographic content show banding. For higher color fidelity, use APNG / WebP / MP4.
